A Safe Calm Space for At Risk Youth

My Project

The supplies requested will support students as they receive mental health services FREE of charge at their school. Therapy can be a difficult, and sometimes uncomfortable space. With your donations, students will have a calm, safe place to unpack their worries and be themselves. Furniture helps keep the space clean and organized. This is important for students who come from chronically chaotic homes. Toys and fidgets are used to keep students engaged during sessions, while snacks and coloring materials give them something to do while they process big emotions.

Our school community is located in a rural town, where resources and funding is low; every donation helps a student access the safety and warmth of the counseling office.
