My Students

My firsties are the best!! I have an energetic class of 6-7 year olds. They are movers and shakers and require lots of wiggle breaks throughout the day. Along with their energy comes a passion for learning that inspires me to give them my best everyday!

My students are an amazing group of kids from many different backgrounds.

Each day they get to see the world through mirrors and windows as they interact with students who are growing up in the same environment as themselves, while seeing how other students live their daily lives very differently from their own. This is the thing I love most about my school! When we get to know people who aren't like ourselves, we broaden our horizons. I have certainly learned from my students, and I know they have learned from each other as well!

My Project

Going back to the classroom amidst a pandemic is no small task, and there are many areas to consider to keep us safe and organized while together at school.

Although we come from many different backgrounds, we all breathe the same air.

Help us keep the air in our classroom clean and Covid-free by providing HEPA air purifiers for our room. In-person school is best, especially for young students like mine, so it is important to make sure our learning environment stays safe so the learning can continue!

Seat sacks will also keep us organized this year as the way we use classroom supplies is different while trying to stay socially distanced. We can no longer use community supplies in the classroom this year, so each student must keep up with his or her items. Having a seat sack will help keep their things neat and easy to find!
