My Project

My Kindergartners are a creative and energetic bunch of learners. We are part of a wonderful school community of diverse families, cultures and backgrounds. The students bring in this diversity in the classroom and have built a wonderful and positive community. As we continue to grow as a classroom family, we are learning increase independence and social skills along with our academics.

At our school we believe that social emotional learning is just as important to becoming a well rounded student as academic instruction is.

To support this growth, our class will benefit from a rug to support classroom transitions. The rug is the heart of our classroom and gives students a cozy space to learn. It will help children become more independent across the year as they make transitions from one activity to another.
