My Students

Our classroom is a beautiful place where amazing things happen every day. Students come into this classroom from every walk of life imaginable. Upon walking into the classroom, you will see a diverse group of students who share the same love for school and friendship.

While all the students are so amazingly different, they all share a strong desire for learning and success.

These children strive for greatness every day, regardless of where they come from. Some children come from a family living in poverty and some from a country they moved from only days ago. No matter what, they are strong and resilient children who work hard every day to do well and learn to the best of their ability.

My Project

We are finally back to school after a long year and a half of remote and blended learning! It is a new transition back to school, and this school year is the closest one to “normalcy” for my second graders. While we are so excited to be back to learning in person, we are missing an important part of our classroom: a rug.

Students spend hours in the classroom and it should be comfortable and well structured.

Without a rug, children currently have to sit on a tile floor for lessons! Having this rug will create a warmer, more inviting space for learning.
