A Rocking Way to Start Flexible Seating

My Project

My students are driven learners with diverse needs! This project will allow students to thrive through the use of flexible seating that encourages productive movement opportunities throughout the day. This project is special in supporting students' overall growth in all subject areas, as students can learn in the physical space that best fits them.

We will rock our way to success, as students with attention modifications utilize rocking chairs in a way that boosts focus for their classmates and themselves.

Flexible seating on the floor provides an opportunity for students to work in quiet areas of the classroom to calm anxiety, promote focus, and encourage student reflection as they understand when they need an alternate learning environment.

Overall, flexible seating tells students that we care about them, their needs, and their whole self.
