My Students

We are an exciting 1st grade class of mixed interests, abilities and goals who access education content in different ways. Innovative in our quest to learn and persevere towards our full potential this 2021-22 school year, we need resources to support our efforts. Time in the classroom is focused on community building and fulfilling our visions for the future by pushing ourselves in our reading, writing, math and STEM work. Despite the on-going COVID restrictions my students must experience a robust learning environment. With your help, we can acquire the tools to reach our learning objectives. Thank you for helping these young learners feel accomplished with materials for our classroom.

My Project

The use of whiteboards for Word Study and Math lessons is a daily activity in my classroom. Students need them during guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. All materials on my Donors Choose list will help me create a robust and fun learning environment for my students.

We'll be wearing masks in the classroom again this year and the microphone/speaker system will be a huge help in ensuring that my students can hear my lessons clearly.

By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
