My Project

One of the great benefits of tactile play with kinetic sand is that it not only engages the touch sense but also involves senses such as sight, hearing, smell, and movement. This helps my children gain a holistic experience as their sensory system is engaged, therefore strengthening their sensory modulations.

Kinetic sand is an easy project that allows my kids to explore their senses, build fine motor skills and strengthen their imaginative play muscles.

Social and emotional development can be supported by engaging with the kinetic sand as my children may find it calming and relaxing.

Moon Lamps and Liquid Motion Bubblers also can be great for kids who have sensory issues. The soothing effects with its liquid flow can help them focus while doing work or calming down.

These therapeutic tools are a great way for my children with special needs to have a rich sensory experience!
