My Project

For the past four years, I have been fortunate to be able to provide my class a set of Chromebooks to use. The majority came through personal private donors as well as grants I applied for (including four from DonorsChoose). No school money was used, which allowed for a set of school Chromebooks to go to our elective classes. I'm proud to say that while these all have held up well with almost daily use 8 class periods a day, all tech has its life cycle and end of life. With no school district funding as of yet, I'd like to start "refreshing" our line and getting some newer machines into our mix as some have reach the end of their update lives.

I teach "digital-age" learners and these, what I consider, essential tools, are an invaluable resource for providing media-rich, interactive, and adaptive technologies to all students.
