My Project

I am a first-year counselor. At the beginning of the year, I had a vague idea of what my students needed, but now I see a tremendous need for a quiet place to calm down and focus.

Every student needs a little time now and then to settle down and breathe.

My elementary-age students benefit from a short break when emotions are high. It helps them work through their feelings and regroup.

I desire to provide a corner of my office for students to sit, use sensory tools, and regulate their emotions.
