Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a very low income community. They have a heart of gold and are willing to go the extra mile for their teachers. They always aim to please and work hard to succeed despite their economic conditions at home.

My students are always eager to learn and are excited to try new things in the classroom.

They are full of energy and are very encouraging and motivating by helping their friends to succeed in the classroom. I am always inspired by their kindness and motivation.

My Project

Students were given iPads by the school district. They, however, do not have headphones to use with their iPads. The use of these iPads without headphones causes a very noisy classroom. These headphones would allow the students to focus and concentrate on the work being done on their iPad without the distraction of hearing all the iPads in one room. The noise reduction would allow for each student to concentrate as they would only listen to their iPad. The availability of the microphone would allow students to record themselves reading or creating a video and assist my ESL students. These headphones will improve our classroom environment.
