My Students

I am learning how to more effectively teach themes that engage students in a way that is more interesting than traditional teaching methods. In an attempt to empower 21st-century learners, constant reinforcement of information is so important. These NYC students need to know how the world around them works.

Students today are inundated with a wealth of knowledge, but sometimes lack guidance, to guide them in the world after graduation I want to make sure my senior Law Academy students get a constitution to have with them day-in-and-day-out.

I want my students to be able to make sense of the world around them. We as educators need to find more ways to relate the content to something they know. Please, don't allow my students to have this limitation in their education. Please help my students to be able to learn in a way that is more comfortable and suitable to their everyday life.

My Project

I want my Law Academy Students to be able to leave high school having their very own copy of a pocket constitution so when they leave school they can still know and study the ideals of the American constitution.

Civic engagement is very important and having students that want to continue their civic engagement is very important, not just to teach the students in the classroom, but preparing them for life after school.

I want my students to be upstanding members of society; this is one of the steps I would like to ensure that happens in their lives after high school.
