Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being creative can be exhausting. I try to create an environment where students are constantly challenged to explore who they are and express themselves using artistic materials. But sometimes my students just need to rest.

The lounge chair will be a place where students can rest, relax, recharge, and gather so they can feel reinvigorated in their artistic pursuits.

My goal is to create a classroom where all feel welcome. I hope by giving my students a place to rest and relax, they can feel ownership over the classroom and tackle their projects with renewed enthusiasm.
