My Students

My students are faced with so many challenges in life, living in a very low income/high poverty and now a pandemic. In my classroom, 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. With that being said, my students are still very eager and enthusiastic to learn. They are hardworking and generous even though they do not have much. Many of my students have special needs and struggle in understanding mathematical concepts

My Project

Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of lack of supplies and resources. When your work area is not organized, it’s hard to focus.

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go.

We just need your help in getting everything through our door. The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door. The three drawer medium storage cart will help each group of students to grab their notes books, books, and other supplies from their assigned drawer when they enter the class and knows exactly what they are doing today. In small cubby bins with covers my students can get any extra material they need to complete their task. The plug grounded indoor extension cord will help my students charge their devices and submit their assignments in a timely manner. The banner posters, PEMDAS poster, place value system bulletin board, classroom rules posters will make the classroom look beautiful and welcoming and these poster will also help them like an anchor chart. The Apple pencil will help me take quick notes for my students which will help me to differentiate my instructions for student needs by employing a variety of instructional strategies.
