Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am new to second grade and my students need a place to keep their materials for learning. We are getting learning tables to replace our old desks. These bookshelves and seat pockets will allow my students to have a place to put their materials in an organizing way.

I am planning on putting the shelves between the tables for our learning materials.

I will use the chair pockets to put in their folders and writing materials. Each student will have their own space to store their things.

Switching grades at this time of the year is tough. I want to see this group of students have a self-sufficient class that is organized and well run. These materials will be just the beginning of what they will need for this year.
