Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Our school is a science and technology magnet school. We are a Title I school located in a high poverty area. Half our student body is from the surrounding neighborhood. The other half are magnet students. Magnet students come from all areas in our district.
The students in my class are eager enthusiastic learners.
We set high expectations, and they always step up to the challenge. Although they face many challenges outside of school, at school they overcome those challenges and succeed.
My Project
Students need access to materials that are well organized. Our classroom needs storage for big books. A shelf will give us a place to store our books. Once we have storage for our books we will be able to organize them. Once organized we will have quick and easy access to them. I would also like to have a gift card to Teachers pay Teachers. This website is full of resources created by educators who know how to design assignments that are meaningful and effective. It is a great resource to supplement our current curriculum.
