Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember the first time you had the chance to use technology? Well now imagine how my students' faces will light up with excitement when they have the chance to use technology. A lot of my students have not yet touched a keyboard let alone a laptop!

I teach at a school in Southern California.

My Kinder Class is mainly composed of second language learners. They are hard working and eager to learn new things. A lot of my students do not have access to computers, laptops, Internet, or printers at home. As far as school, the contact is minimum, there is just not enough resources.

My Project

My students will be able to access all the wonderful resources online. We would be able to use this technology to create many wonderful projects such as writing, printing pictures for our new reading program, they will be able to enhance their reading. In addition, I will be developing a schedule where each student will have the opportunity to use the laptop and they will be able to print their writing projects, etc.

Having a laptop and printer in the classroom will make a huge impact on my students lives.

It will not just motivate them but it will extremely help their self-esteem, by improving their computer skills.
