Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, we are moving into year two of our yearbook class and we are beyond excited. However, we currently do not have all of the tools we need in order to support this group and to make sure that we are able to capture all of the beautiful moments over the course of the year. After hearing some feedback from the previous class, we found there is a need for film photography, not just digital.

With these new cameras and accessories, my students will be able to learn the ins and outs of photography and design as well as be able to create a beautiful yearbook from start to finish to honor and celebrate all of their hard work these last few years in high school.

These students are extremely driven and have repeatedly requested space for this class. This class was extremely successful last year for the very first time, but we now need help with some of the new supplies. These cameras would make a massive difference for these students and will help equip them with skills they can carry on in their postsecondary lives.
