My Students

The challenge: Presenting a project to the whole class! Help my students, they are terrified!

Our school is in a low income area of a large city.

My students are willing to explore Science concepts and learn new things, but are terrified of presenting the information in front of the class, especially when they know it is a graduation requirement!

My Project

The digital camera that I am asking for will be used by the students to document their project activities from start to finish. The pictures can then be utilized within their presentation to make them feel more comfortable while in front of the class. The more comfortable they feel, the better their presentations will be.

A camera will enhance my students' projects and make them more comfortable while presenting in front of the other students.

They will also be able to learn how to download and alter the pictures, a skill which may come in handy during their high school and college years.
