My Project
My students are special education eighth-grade students who are smart, funny, and eager to learn. Regrettably, they don't always have the means or access to breakfast. Sometimes they just get hungry before lunch because they are growing so quickly. By having snacks in my classroom my students will be able to eat and concentrate on the lessons being taught.
Everyone knows how much growing teens can eat!
When my students are hungry they find it difficult to focus on the lesson. They don't tend to participate in discussions or complete classwork. By having snacks in my room, I can enable them to eat a little something to hold them over until lunch. Snacks will enable them to complete assignments and try their best. We need a snack box, cookies, and water.
Some students struggle to get to school on time. Other students don't have adequate supplies at home. No matter what the issue, no student should be hungry in school!
