My Project

This time of year we start thinking about next year. My project includes some things that I will be able to use to get next year off to a great start! My classroom environment and organization is very important to get the school year started in the best possible way.

Each year we celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of the students in our class.

As the students begin the year we focus on being proud of their name. They have name tags at their table spot with the alphabet and numbers included. I am asking for name plates that will keep these name tags secure on their table. The students will be able to practice writing their name by having it right in front of them.

I have also included a number of items to be used at the end of this year and the beginning of next year. This includes alphabet stickers for an alphabet book, smiley stickers for encouragement, and desk pets for behavior incentives. I have requested a beginning sounds game to reinforce what the students have been learning all year. I have also included slap bracelets for each child's birthday. Young children talk about their birthday all year long so I hope to provide them with a little bit of birthday happiness at school. This may be their only celebration. I hope my students have a great end to this year and a super beginning to their new school year!
