Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching 4th grade and cannot wait for this new school year!

It is important for my students to have a growth mindset and feel supported and encouraged even in difficult times at school.

These resources will help my students in their daily reading, writing, math, science, and social studies lessons. We also do many creative social-emotional activities and can use these materials in these activities.

These materials will help to set up our classroom for a positive and successful school year. The growth mindset and inspirational posters will remind students to never give up.

Some materials we have are old, worn-out, and broken, so this is an opportunity for a new and organized classroom with materials that can help each student learn and feel supported. New crayons markers, colored pencils, and a sharpener are all very important for the students during activities and lessons.

In my classroom, I have many students not reading on grade level, and the First Little Readers: Guided Reading Levels G & H (Classroom Set) will help them build confidence in reading and move up in their reading levels throughout the school year.

It is important to have a set of headphones for each student as the students complete work and assessments on the computers and need to be able to listen carefully.
