My Students

A bright and cheery classroom makes for bright and cheery students, help us looks our best!

I teach the K-2 Primary Autism class at Walgrove Elementary.

My students are 5 -8 years old, energetic, smart, caring, independent and eager to learn. Walgrove is a great environment for all of us and we love spending time with all of our friends around campus.

My Project

We will use the rug to connect with books, socialize with each other, decompress and get ready for the rigorous activities planned for them. Students have a wide selection of books, Dr. Seuss, Berenstain Bears, etc. to read and be read to. We laugh, play, and giggle at the silly things our teacher does. We use the rug to catch our breath and take a break before we have to stretch our brains. The rug is the starting point, where we all get together before we begin any activity.

The classroom environment makes a big difference to our students and keeping the space fresh, bright and clean will make the students feel safer and sharper.

Additionally, taking care of our classroom space makes teaching taking care of our personal space easier.
