My Students

When you walk into my classroom, you will see creative and innovative students. My classroom motto is, "It's okay to think outside the box." Students are growing up in our ever-changing world and need the important chance to think freely in multiple and varied ways.

Thinking outside of the box is not something that every teacher enjoys, but the reality is that not all students fit inside the box.

My classroom is a safe haven for all students to learn.

My Project

Having a new printer in my classroom would show my students the importance of being able to publish their work.

When I teach my students to write, I take them through the entire writing process.

I want them to see that words have power and meaning. Publishing your words for all to see carries a very important message.

I want my students to grow up to be life long writers and appreciate their writing. Being able to share their original ideas is something that I know the parents in my school community will also value.

At the end of the day, I want my students to appreciate their love of writing.
