My Project

My young learners love to express themselves through art. They enjoy coloring, drawing, and most of all painting. Art is a great way to help develop fine motor skills, explore colors and shapes, learn about the world around them, boost their confidence, and foster cognitive development through open-ended play.

My students would greatly benefit from a four sided easel so that multiple students can engage in art at the same time.

While working on their art, students can talk about their artwork allows children to practice vocabulary related to colors, shapes, and actions, enhancing their communication skills.

This easel would enhance our center time and foster a love of art in my young learners.

My preschool class is a diverse class with students coming from many cultures, backgrounds, religions with many different languages spoken in their homes. I want to integrate more books in our curriculum that represent our differences and highlight them in a positive way for students.
