This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a wide range of abilities and capabilities within my classroom. This classroom setting is a self-contained room. This means that most of my students come to me because they are behind grade level curriculum and have learning disabilities that impede their learning in a regular setting.
My classroom has a creative and fun atmosphere that supports each and every child's needs and abilities.
They are allowed to be themselves and discover what and how they learn best despite our challenges and hindrances.
My Project
I teach a 1-15 Special Education Class full of 4th-6th graders. These products will be helpful tools for subjects my students are struggling with. Hands-on products are especially helpful tools in my classroom.
These subjects can be complex for the students in my classroom.
Working on place value is especially difficult. The Base Ten Frames will help my students under the concept of number carrying over to the next value.
The other products will help us with up coming lessons to complete throughout the end of the year. Any help is much appreciated.
