This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello I am a Per-K teacher here in Richmond, Virginia working with kids in low poverty communities . Pre-K is such an exciting group of mixed interests and abilities. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to hold a paintbrush or write on paper. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and boogie to a sweet tune. Students at my school are compassionate, hard working and creative. As English language learners, books are so important to my students they have often began to like art a lot due to us teaching and learning virtual!

My Project

This project will be for my preschool students. This will help them with writing and art , since we are online sometimes it becomes very hard for the students to keep up with paper and pencil. When the students do use paper and pencil it is very hard for the teacher to see what the students are doing. With the students using the drawing pads it will not only help the students but us teachers also. This is a lo-cost item but it will be very hard to get my school to get one for my students since we are not in person to get classroom funds thanks for your help!
