My Project

Science is fun! My first graders will be conducting investigations to discover how sound produces vibrations, as well as learn about Natural Resources.

Students will love to shake, rattle, and roll using a variety of musical instruments.

The science SOL involves understanding how objects move back and forth to create vibrations. The Kid's Musical Instruments include wooden percussion instruments, xylophone, and other handheld instruments.

Learning about Natural Resources will allow students to investigate rocks and soil. We will be planting using the Colorful Planting Pots, in which students can decorate their pots. Students will also be able to paint their own rocks when we learn about all the properties of rocks.
