Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school has been around since the 1950s. Our media club technology, such as cameras and teleprompters, is outdated. Even with our outdated technology, my students eagerly attend media club sessions each morning and put in the hard work of recording and planning our school-wide morning announcements.

The items I am requesting will positively impact our media club members and our school-wide morning announcements experience.

Our students will be excited to learn about newer technology and experiment with new technology features. The new portable cameras will provide opportunities for our students to record segments around the school. The lighting setup will create a more modernized and professional setting for our students to record in. Finally, the screen and computer stand will be utilized as a teleprompter that will provide students with a true media production experience.
