Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The following funds will be used to upgrade the speech room for our students.

This will include: changing the lighting.

Many of our students prefer the lights off because they are fluorescent and bright. However, it is then often too dark in our room. We will use lamps with warm lighting to change this- thanks to you!

Also, there recently has been lots of road construction around our school. Unfortunately, this allowed some unwanted creepy crawlers in our school. We will be using the funding to purchase the necessary supplies to ward them away from our room.

Lastly, we will buy some necessary cleaning supplies as well as Teacher's Pay Teachers gift cards that allow us to reduce planning time and differentiate our lesson plans more directly to each student's needs.
