This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

What I love about my students is that they’re hungry for more. Because we’re in a low-income area, it’s hard to get the needed materials/items required for doing experiments.

These materials will make a difference in their learning by bringing to life what they see on television, YouTube, or wherever else, and placing it directly in front of them.

The lessons in which I’ll teach will be “Salt vs. Sugar” where we learn the differences between salt and sugar; “Hair” where fascinating facts are reveal be it cool or gross; “Cheek Swab” where we get to view the ells in our own body, etc.
