Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's hard to learn using 1 student desk that's too short, small, and not equip for small group instruction. A kidney table at the right height for grades 3-5 will be more effective and safer to allow the students minds to focus on learning. I teach in a small TITLE ONE school in Far Rockaway, NY! My students show up and work hard every single day! I am asking for a kidney table for my classroom so that the magic of individualized learning can continue comfortably. Right now, we are all hoovered over a small student desk sitting on the floor. It is not comfortable nor is it sanitary. It would be nice to see my scholars come to a table like they are in a board meeting to showcase their ideas. Please help us.
