My Project

School budgets are tighter than ever, so basic things are needed to keep students healthy and the music room safe. I would appreciate acquiring a supply of Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and wipes. Because my classroom is located outside, the outdoor mat, along with the vacuum, will certainly help to keep the music classroom cleaner!

Most of my students are neurodivergent, so your kind donation will purchase cushions that can be used as flexible seating options, as some engage best when they have choices of where to sit; the cushion also provides the added benefit of a "wiggle" option for those who need it!

These lightweight cushions can also show a group where to sit. I could arrange them in a circle, rows, or pairs before a class comes into music and have the kids "go to a spot." This will be a great way to support classroom management and smoother transitions.

Finally, my students will LOVE the additional sensory materials for our fidget basket and cozy corner! These and a fresh new parachute will contribute to a supportive classroom environment, resulting in joyful music-making!
