My Project

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy Lunar New Year.

Diversity and celebrating the many wonderful cultures has been one of the highlights of teaching in my 3rd grade Dual Language class.

We spend time to read and understand the rich history, the culture, and the purpose of their celebrations. It is true amazing to know that Lunar New Year is recognized by the New York City Public School System and we have the day off to honor this beautiful holiday.

It would be such a wonderful experience if I could provide my students with the decorations and items needed to truly have a memorable experience in celebrating the Lunar New Year.
