My Project

My students enjoy reading and to continue to develop their comprehension and vocabulary, I am looking to build my library with graphic novels.

Graphic novels are very popular with young readers, provide support for students that struggle with reading grade level material and expose students to higher levels of vocabulary.

Many of my students enjoy the illustrations that graphic novels provide along with the texts to help them engage with the plot and visualize the story. With my graphic novels in my classroom students with be able to have discussion on the literary elements of the text such as theme, character traits and summarizing a text. Please help

provide my students reading material that grabs and holds their interest.
