Our classroom is the district's K-5 autism program, which is housed within a neighborhood public elementary school. Our students have a diverse range of strengths, needs, and socioeconomic backgrounds. From adaptive art groups all the way to individual education times, our students access skill-building activities that are structured to meet their ever-evolving individual needs. Over half of our students qualify for the free/reduced-price breakfast and lunch program. Our highly talented and devoted staff works hard to support these amazing kids each day so they can have successful and engaging school days.
My Project
Our kids are obsessed with Mo Williams books but really who isn't. The absolute love for these characters and the books translates in really well-loved books that have multiple pages falling out.
These favorite books are used to help stimulate language for kids, used during our morning meets and even as reinforcement for completion of academic tasks.
We use these books a ton!
Please help us get these beloved texts in the hands of our amazing kids so we can continue to foster the love for Mo Williams and help to continue to bring a little more laughter into the lives of our students. Your donations will go a long way to brighten our students days!
