My Project

My classroom and students need a little of this, and some of that in our science classroom. My students are generally very careful with lab equipment, but as we have worked this year, we have discovered that we need a few items or to replace some of our things.

I am requesting a classroom set of timers to be used as we run labs.

The protractors will be used to measure all sorts of things, but most recently we used them to measure the height of our projectiles. I had to request to borrow some from the math department and wait a day to get them. Recently we had a fun activity and built catapults. We needed the measuring tapes; our projectiles went far!! I want to add 3 more mortar and pestles to our classroom so that each group has their own and won't have to share the ones we have in our lab stations. Our Sharpies tend to disappear; do yours? I have requested a dozen to add to our lab. I have included some toothpicks and a jar of mints for our candy stash.

These things are small but nonetheless important. Thank you for your support.
