My Project

We are almost at the halfway mark for the school year! Items are being utilized, and learning is occurring throughout the building. It is a nice, established routine. In a few short weeks, we will be hosting a literacy night for the school. This is the time in which parents can come in and learn about strategies to bridge the learning from school to home successfully.

For this project, I am requesting circle spots, dry-erase boards, and dry-erase markers for reading and math time.

What I love about the dry-erase boards is that they are double-sided, allowing students to write sentences with lines. Additionally, I would like a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to be used in class and for planning for literacy night. I will be hosting a Phonics Bootcamp for parents that simulate the Phonics lessons, and this gift card will provide me with several Science of Reading resources for students. I can also provide my students with visual worksheets for math applications.

Dry-erase pocket sleeves and dry-erase markers will have constant utility in our rooms. Students may sometimes forget to put the top on, or due to constant use, they may run out. This supply should last us for the remainder of the school year. Students will no longer have to worry about going to grab dry-erase boards and markers. Instead, they will already be available on the tables for intervention sessions with the circle spots. This also eliminates the use of existing dry-erase boards that are outdated and chipped.
