My Students

This year is going to be a fun and exciting year packed with centers, projects, presentations, and field trips. Children learn through different modalities. We need to make sure we have the tools to help each child learn as much as he/she can.

I have a class full of energetic first graders.

They always come to school with something to share. My goal for this class full of scholars is to get them excited about learning, encourage them to try their best, and allow them to blossom using the strengths that they bring with them.

My Project

My students will be using the listening center as part of our weekly rotations. This will be especially helpful for my auditory learners. They will sit with their group at the center, listen to the assigned story while following along in the book, and then complete a follow up activity to check for comprehension.

This listening center will help to get my students who are struggling with reading, get excited about and motivated about stories.

They will improve their comprehension skills and feel proud to share and participate in group activities.
