This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I just started teaching Spanish at a title I school and there's no classroom library. I would love to share my passion for reading with my students who don't get a chance to visit the local library for different reasons. I scaffold my class content to reach my students and a set of books at their level would help close a gap. It would allow me to differentiate and meet my students at their level. For this project, I chose two set of colorful books with authentic and academic content. This will allow my students to use the pictures to better understand the text and it will allow me to use the content for meaning lessons.

Ms. Buelvas will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 11.
