Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Second Grade teacher at a high-needs, low-income, Title I school in Las Vegas, NV. My school is made up of 70% ELLs, and 100% of them receive a free or reduced lunch. My students are primarily English Language Learners and come from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Something that I love about my students is that they teach me more than I can sometimes teach them. They are fun, loving, and happy and they always come ready to learn!

I want to be able to provide my students with these materials to enhance their learning in the classroom!

The whiteboards will be used for discussion activities, and to share answers and ideas with peers. The folders will help my students keep their homework safe, and the anchor charts will be used to display our learning targets on the walls of our classroom.
