Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This group of 3rd graders missed a crucial end of their Kindergarten year due to Covid and continued their early learning years virtually. Resulting in many student behaviors that need to be supported and reinforced inside the classroom to have a successful year. With the items in my project, I will be able to individually tailor goals for students that they can work on. Many students are motivated by being rewarded with incentives and many of the items in this project are for replenishing my inventory. Students are also much more motivated and thrilled for writing when they use writing utensils that are fun and colorful such as the gel pens that each student will receive if this project gets funded. Students will be excited to work on expectations/positive behavior while simultaneously learning self-regulating habits that eventually hopefully one day come naturally to some.
