Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. We strive for excellence and each one of us share the excitement as students grow from school dependent learners to independent learners.

They encourage one another to stand by their own work and voice their individuality.

This year, I have the privilege of working with two very unique classes, servicing sixty amazing young individuals. Our students are eager and resilient.

Their ability to make the decision of what they want to read will ultimately lead them to be successful readers and leaders of the future.

My Project

Our classroom is an environment that inspires creativity and provides a space that makes learning fun. As students grow through this crucial year of middle school it is important to keep their imagination alive as well as develop a long lasting love of reading.

Having theses resources within a multi leveled library for our students to take an active part in their education makes all the difference!

By providing students with the opportunity to select a challenging and popular title, as well as, continue the journey through a series in a fantasy realm of their choice, we will build a foundation of literacy for years to come.
