My Project

Microscopes can open up a whole new world for students. I want to provide my students with the opportunity to see the world in a whole new way... through the lens of a microscope. Children are exceptionally receptive and they absorb new knowledge like a sponge. I plan to utilize these resources with my 5th graders to ignite their curiosity and discovery through a new lens.

Looking at the world under a microscope brings it to life.

Students will start to see things beyond the surface and begin to question their world. This is a vital part of their quest for knowledge and allows them to take a positive approach to the scientific world around them. Science lays the foundation for understanding our world. All students deserve the opportunity to live up to their potential and to do this they must be given every advantage to reach that potential. The use of a microscope can bring the abstract to life.
