We are so proud of the achievements of our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students with the soprano recorder. Many of our students have advanced beyond the usual song list and will greatly benefit from learning ensemble instruments.
By adding sopranino and alto recorders to our classroom instrument supply our students can make a choice on the next level of songs they will be working on.
The more advanced students can select alto or sopranino recorders and perform harmony parts while the students who are not quite as advanced can play the melody on the soprano recorder. The addition of these instruments will also be an inspiration for achievement for all students.
Since we will be sharing these instruments it will be important to have the proper cleaning solution to disinfect the instruments between use. Sterisole is the tool of choice for wind instruments such as the recorder.
