My Students

My students are creative, enthusiastic, lifelong learners. They have a thirst for learning, but they lack the basic materials needed for a solid education. My students are always eager to take on new challenging experiences. In addition to this, they are fun-loving, fearless and hardworking. They will grow up to be our future leaders of the world. Yes, they inspire me every day.

My Project

The supplies that I am requesting will be given to my students for their use. They will utilize them during the first week of school. Each student needs at least three folders. One for homework worksheets and notices for parents. A second folder for unpublished writing pieces that they continue to work on until the writing piece is published. The third folder is for math worksheets that I make copies of for them. Folders may seem like an unimportant item but they promote good organizational skills.

The copy paper is very important and can be very expensive, especially since I will need to differentiate work using a variety of resources to meet the needs of individual students.

The last item on my list is erasers. Students feel at ease when they have erasers to correct mistakes. This gives them control over their work. Only work that students want teachers to see will be seen when every student has an eraser. Erasers ensure neatness, and neatness counts.
