Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Through my many years in education I have learned that when a student feels happy and safe; they become a leader in their education. When a students learns how to control themselves and is provided the tools to succeed on a daily basis they have a much better chance in succeeding and applying their knowledge to their academic success. Building a strong foundation of social emotional well being is the key to empowering students. This professional development will provided me an opportunity to spread the joy in teaching social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and yoga not only with my students, but other colleagues as well.
