This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Having a document camera in the classroom is a luxury that every school and every classroom does not have. I have always used my document camera faithfully, as I LOVE the hands-on teaching and learning it provides. At the beginning of this year, my beloved document camera would not turn on. This left me without one, due to my school not having anymore available to replace it.
Not having a document camera has impacted my ability to meet the needs of all my students and their different learning styles.
With the use of a document camera, I am able to teach my students in a more hands-on and visual way. I am able to show them objects and things in my hands, and they can come up to the camera and do the same!
