My Students

As a special education teacher, my students each have different needs that I must help meet with the necessary tools. This year I will be taking on a new challenge, as I teach a new grade. I love a new challenge, but most importantly I want to make sure my students succeed.

Throughout the day, I teach students in Integrated Co-Teaching classrooms, with students that have Individualized Education Plans. Being in Junior High School may be difficult at times, therefore I want the students to have all the necessary skills and tools to succeed. Each student this year has specific goals and the potential to meet them. Now I need to give them the necessary materials to help them achieve their goals.

My Project

Organization is a major key in succeeding in Junior High School! The supplies I am requesting will help my students stay organized, especially with all our hand outs, including differentiated materials, calculators, graph paper, pencils, etc. Being able to know where these materials are in the classroom, will allow my students to use them freely and feel more confident while in my classroom. Having these items readily available, will allow them to focus more on the classroom instruction, with less time spent rummaging through their desk or backpack, allowing for a more organized classroom with more confident students learning each day!
