Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are from a lower socio-economic area and do not have the opportunity to engage with a rich library in their own home. Using these books and shelves we can expose the students to different stories and experiences without them ever having to leave the room.

Having a print rich environment is so important for the early childhood classroom, and in our school we have a large community of multi-lingual learners who are interacting with the English language for the first time.

These outward facing shelves holding print rich books will be so impactful for our littlest learners!
