My Project

The way that my students continue to grow and learn is an inspiration to me. I want my students to continue to thrive in this educational environment and really think outside the box.

The idea for this project is to have students have an understanding of a full city grid and how the idea of shapes, lines and angles can help shape that idea.

These materials will have students learn more about urban planning and the idea of surveying cities to design their own city. I am hoping with the curriculum we have been working on, they will have a better grasp of why learning about shapes, lines and angles is important to create that connection to the city that they live in.

With your help, I can make this happen in our Title I school which we do not always receive the most financial backing from outside resources. I would appreciate any help that you can provide. Thank you for listening.
